KEVIN GODIER is a project and trade finance specialist, also well known for writing about other financial, infrastructure and international development issues. Educated at the University of Birmingham and Westcliff High School for Boys, he has worked on Cross-border Information projects in such diverse places as Morocco, Tunisia, Bahrain and Qatar, and Finland, the Netherlands and United States.

Kevin is contributing editor and principal contributor to the respected newsletter International Trade Finance, produced by Cross-border Information for T&F Informa and finance editor of the CbI publications African Energy and Gulf States Newsletter. Author of a Financial Times Management Report on financing African energy, Kevin has also written features in The Banker and Financial Times supplements. Among work for institutions, Kevin is the regular news reporter for the Export Credit Guarantee Department's quarterly newsletter, ECGD News, and has written for ECGD's Annual Reports since 2000/01.

Kevin is a lead contributor to the yearbooks published for ECGD (Global Exporter), credit insurer Atradius, the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC - Sustainable Investment) and the Berne Union of export credit agencies, among several other internationally-known publications, by Newsdesk Communications Ltd, via that company's editorial provision contracts with CbI.
